Trains in this new station seem to act just like b4, they sit and wait when 3 other lanres are clear, i.e. still only taking the shortest path. Hope it's just a beta thing but this isn't working in Sandbox mode at least. I also noticed you remove the choice to manually select platforms, I would still like this for some situations.

Not sure if the devs read this or not but hopefully a better way to upgrade engines and hire is in the pipeline. Once I get later in the game I don't even bother with either. Maybe a way to upgrade all trains on a track, but then you might need a frieght/passenger filter. The hiring is just so time consuming after 20 trains or so.

The signaling is over due and much appreciated. Maybe all stations should have it by default, even the small station should have extra track, that way upgrades are much easier. It would be nice if they could be shorter somehow as well. The singaling makes this game much more enjoyable.

Nabend.

I've been playing with the new stations and depots with Dynamic Track Selection for some time now. As practical as they are for the flow of goods, they are as unwieldy in many places because they must always have tracks on both sides. However, in many construction projects they are only used on one side.

Is there anyway for a train which carries material to connected city warehouse has possitive profit?

:dollars:

@Kalypso_Lord MK: Thank you for that at least. I don't think most players mind it during campaign as you are right it drives the narrative nor does it bother folk when it's a scenario objective but for many of us (myself including) the hidden scenario timer of it drives us crazy. Like we don't want sandbox/free mode as we like scenarios and objectives, it's just losing to a non-objective timer that we have little control over which drives us nuts.

I agree with MarkM. It would be good if one side of the rails could be torn off. So you could set them as termini to the cities.
