The lighting for the game is awful now. The maps are too dark, all are set to an "evening" setting so everything is dark. None of the maps have direct sunlight above so it makes it harder to see. Yes, realism but also make it more fun to play. The droppable weapons and everything is nice, though there is a bug that sometimes doesn't let you holster your main wep and it falls out of your hand. Need to make a option that allows the tablet to be picked up with the menu button again on the vive, because I always accidently pick up my pistol or knife trying to grab it (I'm a lefty). Other than that, everything else is a nice improvement, but the lighting is what's turning me off

You did a really great job with this update, I love how you now handle every weapon, it's way more intuitive and realistic.

The only thing that bothers me is the new lighting, I prefered the older one by far. Now it's sunset everywhere, very disturbing and unrealistic.

And I was looking forward above all to the new jungle lighting, since it's a great map though it was totally dull, but it's even way worse now :( And why do bots use flashlights in daylight ?

I know it's not fully polished yet, and that you're aware of the lighting issues, and I trust you to give us the best very soon !

Congrats guys, you made the best game ever ! :)

Loving the update so far, particularly the grab to hod on oculus and the weapon pick ups. Cargo is very intense playing solo and very tactical on multi. Reminds me of indoor paintball. I haven't played all the maps since the update but the interaction with your own form appears much better.

Addition of the 'tactics' board was a good one, but i had to wait at least 30 seconds before someone drew a penis :)

I have yet to have any glitches in this build, and I am glad that you cannot 'duel wield'... who the F would want that tripe!

good job.

So far this update is awesome! Love the ability to share and loot items from other players and bodies. The lighting is super awesome too! Literally my only complaint is that when playing on jungle it is kind of hard to see without NVGs during the day. The shadows are pretty dark. Not a big deal, definitely makes the gameplay more interesting. Great job Dev team, I am very impressed!

I haven't read through the comments, but this patch needs to be a beta build until it's stable. In it's current state, I can't grip guns with 2 hands and spray without the recoil yanking the gun out of my hand and shooting at the sky. I was excited about all the changes, but once I loaded in to play, I quickly exited the game. I'd say it's un-playable right now, but I can't wait for them to fix it. At-least they added in the ability to play on the other version, so I can still play Onward. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to get all the new features implemented!

This update broke the game... these are good additions, now it plays super choppy and has a TON of bugs...in one match in subway i was booted to the lobby (not kicked) 2 times, one of the rounds i spawned like 7 feet in the air, immortal, invisible and with no equipment... that same game i shot and killed someone int eh subway basement and ten seconds later he shot and killed me AFTER HE WAS DEAD... he knew he was dead and he shot me and was calling out locations to teamamtes.... i can live through a few bugs but the game is suuuuuper choppy now... its unplayable until patched. again im a huge fan of the changes but its in a poor state now.

Great work team, obviously im sure you know by now to ignore the haters that say you should have done this that way or whatever. Your vision is on point, and keep making what YOU want in a shooter...it will of course take time and will have issues but the honest and supportive playerbase has more respect for you than you know...derps will always just be derps!

THANKS so much for including the TAR-21 :steamhappy: !!

I asked for this rifle to be included in Steam Forums about 6 months ago. Either a happy coincidence you included it or you're following suggestions from the dedicated users. Either way I'm pumped to be using that rifle as it's exceptionally competent in real-world.
