@ razmoudah

Well the closest thing we got to that is the Enfi race enslaved by the Gremak.

I am ROBOTNIK!!

"Snively, Roboticise that world."

Yes, I've been re-watching Sonic The Hedgehog via Amazon lately, and those were litterally my very first thoughts, now all you need is a race of super fast hedgehogs (who favor the color blue, even if they aren't blue themselves) who have an insatiable need to disrupt all of the Tinkerers plans.

@Arioch

Plus, the Tinkers don't have to beat or whip their followers once they become cyborgs, while the slavemasters have to do that kind of stuff to their slaves once they become enslaved. Also, some people would actually be willing to be roboticized (possibly even to the point where they don't care about losing their individuality, as long as they complete their intended goal (similar to Braig from Kingdom Hearts)).

@NecroDragon: In game terms, they're two versions of essentially the same mechanic.

Ethically, it depends on your point of view. In some ways, harmonization is even more sinister than slavery: they're enslaving your mind and doing some fairly gruesome things to your body. On the other hand, quite apart from slavers, the Tinkers think they're doing you a favor, introducing you into what they consider to be a state of ascension.

Hmmm, I'm starting to wonder how the Tinkers' Harmonization compares to the Gremaks' slavery, in terms of ethics; any discussions?
Arioch  [developer] Sep 30, 2017 @ 12:55pm
@Vyndicu: I wouldn't think so. De-Harmonization is mainly so that other factions can restore recaptured population.
