@Fluffles I agree. I think production blocks should be able to produce torps as well. Probably very slow and very expensive for balancing.

Have removed the Beta: Reason unplayable for the casual gamer. See Review as it is too long to post here. Remember guys not everyone is into super huge titanic size ships nor into constant conflict....Hope this gets fixed so I don't have to remove the entire game.

@ Jaqui I mean they use lasers for that purpose irl... now take capital ship space lasers and they will be fairly effective. What I really want to see though is the ability to produce your own torps. Make them expensive sure, but it would give easier access to them for a dedicated vessel.

i dunno if this is intended but for anti torpedo/fighters i use laser turrets set to "defend" it's just "zap" and the fighter/torp is dead

Pretty sweet sounding combat update! I've been waiting for some actual defense against fighters, and here it is. New ships classes to liven up combat is great too.

My 2 pd turrets miss about 85% of the time as well. I'm looking forward to finding AFCs and seeing if those are more effective.

@nathan, make sure they have an accuracy of 90 or more and a high fire/rotation rate.
