@von they've been gone I believe, missiles were balanced and made easier to take out with PDCs.

Very nice... but the issue still stands that the current Turret Slot rework has done more harm than good. Rather than Fighters being a complimentary form of damage or utility, they're pretty much required now if you want to field any kind of threat in a battle.

I'm not saying go back to the original amount, but definitely give players a way to increase Turret slot counts with something other than mods, or increase the effects that mods give us.

One thing I like in Eve is the Processing Power that was needed for turrets/etc being slotted. A system like that could be put in place with Avorion.

Each ship has a starting Processing power amount, with TCS mods both adding processing power and decreasing turret proc power drain.

nice " Reworked upscaling of Xsotan dmg, now linear and no longer dependent on player ships " hope that fixes how difficulty is, basically after you get outa titanium theres nothing to pose a threat due to enemys dont scale well with players. will find out soon I guess.
