@Pablo Its already their. All you have to do is order a unit like if you were telling it to move to a new position, but drag it over top of a friendly or allied ship.

@upuaut: commands for fighters already exist: left shift + # of squad to select; left shift + A/D to give the command attack and defend. Check out the key bindings in the controls menu for the other commands

please add keyboard commands for fighter squadrons like attack defence and the others. Same for the automatic turret orders. It´s tedious and slow to do it by mouse. Thx. Great work so far.

ShipSystem script component sounds interesting. Is there any chance for Turrets API any time soon? Turning them on/off, setting/getting targets? This would expand player AI ships possibilities.

Will we have a more detailed system for controlling are fleeton short notice. For example if i were to get a distress signal i could select a group of my ships and send them out to help.
