The biggest thing that keeps me from coming back to this game consistently is the lack of a track pad locomotion system. I truly love the game but I can't do the teleportation like I used to be able to. I have played so many games that have managed the track pad movement so well. I'd like to see my favorite VR horde game do it as well.

It's a great game, but there's many things that break immersion.

There's still alot of work that needs to be done, like;
I find it quite odd that theres things like duffel bags, but cant be opened/searched. Glass bottles dont break when being shot. Items dont collide well, or at all. Hammers and other objects dont stick into zombies heads or really do much.

Seriously, its very odd to have objects that you can pick up, but do nothing with at all. Would rather not have the objects, like cans and bottles. Especially ones that are obviously weapons, but still do nothing. If they do nothing at all, remove them. So weird.

3D sound is terrible, honestly. It will sound like a zombie just creeped up on me and is jumping me, but when i turn, theres no zombie there. But there is a zombie just over yonder. Sound positioning needs much work.

This is my offering of constructive criticism.
Everything else about the game is just beautiful to me. Keep up the good work devs!

Love the game but hate teleporting, rather would have had u let me walk by using the thumb pad (round one) like a 4 way controller key-ish... teleport is killing gameplay for me... other then that awesome game and good job!

I avoided buying the game out of distaste for this controversy, but I appreciate the apology and have since bought it...which is something I don't even regret. This game is awesome. It's way more interactive than the videos make it seem, which is what made me shy away from buying in the past. Props on a good game devs. But I do believe this is a game that would benefit from a different form of movement.

Alternative mode of movement, please, devs.

After I read the reddit and other posts about this particular business model I was fairly sure I wasn't going to purchase this game (shame on Intel really for even offering such a garbage scheme to a developer that likely really needed the money to offset costs). By the time I had purchased a vive, this "feature" had been removed, and apologized for in a way that seemed carefully worded but sincere. So I purchased it.

Also, a few of the 9mm pistols sound like the unsilenced M4 from Counter-Strike 1.6. I would really like to mod the sound or request that they be improved. Otherwise thanks again for the game. If you feel inclined to produce games in the future, please do not sucumb to corporate overlords and destroy/fracture the PC market further than it already is. VR is hard enough for the general populace as it is and you were promoting the destruction of the future of the market. You want EVERYONE to be able to play your game, not just high end PC gamers right? So make it easier for everyone to play, and people who like it and want a better experience will buy better hardware on their own. Instead you are making people not want your game and creating an example for people NOT to follow. Thank you for recinding your decision, it was a decision for the history books.
