Thank you for your game! I'm very surprised with it, it's realy fun and much more polished than most of releases this days. I'd play Star Nomad 2 (or see any new content in the current game) with a big pleasure!

Seems half the gamers find the game too hard for whatever reasons and the other half quickly learn and rise to the challenge. My goal is to strike a good balance (the hardest thing in game design IMO).

If you throw in the towel I can offer some tips for those missions on the discussion forum.

Thanks for the update and for a good game. Funny how different people see the game different ways. I had no problems with the early stages but the Yamada missions in the second half are absolutely kicking my♥♥♥♥♥♥ Whichever frigate I try I seem to get wiped out by massive Confed forces, still working on it....

A good early trade run in the Nomad is Kirov (Flesh Dolls) -> Arrakis (Isotopes) -> Wallach (Meds) -> Kirov, a triangle. There's some risk but very easy once you figure the flight path to avoid pirate patrols (only danger is in Kirov, stick to the trade lane on approach to the Pleasure Dome).

A few laps and you have a Stiletto with Mk1 modules & 2x Hawyeke missiles, enough for Al Dhanab combat missions! Once you get an Mk2 PD on the Stiletto, start the Story by visiting Erica in Gemini. A bunch of the early story mission reward a lot of creds.

I'll look into enabling the Star Map above the Guild HQ UI in the next update. 2AM, off to sleep!

Thanks for this update, I almost put it down after a few hours the other night because progress just felt so painfully slow at the start - combat is difficult with a starter ship and just trading goods is boring (took 30 min to be able to afford enough to buy a better ship). Will definitely continue to play now. Additionally, thanks for adding the missile highlight keys, I thought it odd that everything else is marked and I actually had to dig though docs to see you could use those keys for the missiles.

On another tangent, is there any way to add being able to bring up the star map while looking at guild missions? Maybe it's because I just started playing, but I'm not familiar with how far away systems are so I have to keep closing out of the guild mission screen to look at the star map to see how far I need to go.

It's always fun to see others my play my creation, seeing it from their pov. I do fully agree with his points (game is fun, story is fun but start is horrible) which is why this patch is here.

I also changed one of the mission text to better define the objective to remove possible confusion. It's nice to get visual feedback. :)
