I loved this game in Early Access, and I see that 12 of my friends want a copy. I'll be sure to recommend it to them again tomorrow. Congrats on the release, can't wait to see where post-launch content takes us!

@old black nerd - tomorrow's release will have new art, some new content, fixes etc but nothing earth shattering. I'd say go for it!

@123 - thanks for the feedback and post! We keep talking about and testing the idea that 2 advances would result in 2 range changes. We've flipped it a few times back and forth in our test branch and just haven't made the final. We are being sure to evaluate that idea in light of the carrier/fighter update -- so the meta rebalance of that major change is likely to be the deciding factor.

And I forgot to add that though some people did not like the fact that some ship types open up on completion of achievements, I actually enjoyed the experience. As most players have probably have already discovered, you will need to play multiple pilots and adopt different play styles to be able to unlock some achievements. I was happy to play the neutral trader but wanting to achieve and unlock some items, I had to play nasty pirate and destroy quite a few ships. I actually enjoyed the challenge and played the game in a way that I probably would not have explored. So thank you for that too :steamhappy:

Great game, thanks for all the updates. One of the most polished EA games I have played. Never had one crash or lost save. My only gripe is during ship combat when both ships successfully move toward each other, the gap is reduce by one. I feel that if both ships move forward successfully the gap between should reduce by two. Considering that when one ship is successful the gap is reduced by one, I figure if both are successful then each ship would move forward 1 (closing the gap by two). Pilots would then have to retreat back a space to get correct weapon range, or continue to move forward if they plan to board or use close range weapons. Just would add a little but more to the ship combat if you have to manage the weapon range more often. Other than that, super fantastic game where the story continues around you no matter what choices or lack of choices you make.
