thoughly unimpressed with the game. i finally found time to play it to find out that i cannot even play it since it was taken down. purchased on the last chance sale and now cannot make a game seeing i cannot even sign up to the servers in the first place to play in offline mode. I requested a refund as it is not viable to play at all and steam said no because it was past the 2 weeks date of purchase. really not happy with this product as it is useless

I've just went for my first session in this game this morning after letting this game sleep for 3 years, to discover that even those playing neverwinter nights are still able to play while we're getting grass cut under our feets.:castlightning:
Sweet dick move, guys.

What the hell, Digital Extremes? Go back and try to stealth edit the news post here between June 4th and june 7th, and think we won't notice, instead of engaging with this community in an open and honest conversation about this topic? Are you EA now?

Yeah... I woudln't have noticed if it weren't for people commenting here. You guys could have posted a new one to let people know it might change...
Wow...what a bitch move hat acutally could be seen as false advertising when that nes post was made...

good job editing that post half a year later to remove that the servers will remain indefinitely and instead saying that they could be down any moment ^^ you guys could have responded to discussions and explained yourself instead of just chaning a half year old news feed

They chose to do "other things" with that time than what they promised the community....
Guys, they pulled it because the contract between publisher and developer expired.

I agree, Sword Coast Legends wasn't the best game I've ever played but a fine game nonetheless. I quite enjoyed the main campaign, still have the DLC to play. There are a lot of people that would still buy the game or didn't get the chance to purchase it before they removed it. Such a drastic decision...

I love this game and played D&D since 1976. I dont understand why they pulled it off steam. Worse games still sold by steam. I liked this game and play it alot when i am in the mood for D&D. I enjoy the game and you can make anything from D&D and Pathfinder or any other fanasy monster. i bought it late so missed the DM player fun online. But i will still enjoy years from now glad I got it while i could. Hack and slash I miss 1 and 3.5 D&D
