Hello, I pledged to the Kickstarterr back in the fall of 2013 but I'm not seeing this preview release in Steam, even though I have 10.12.2 installed on my Mac. I think that there may have been an issue with how I answered the Kickstarter survey.

I have written to Cyan on Kickstarter and backers@cyan.com over a week ago and didn't receive and answer. Hoping to bump this up somehow.

As I wrote below, Obduction's Mac version 1.4.1 (for backers) now works perfectly under Mac OS 10.12.2 with my MSI nVidia GTX 750 Ti graphics card. I have also played it through once using my backup comuter with its EVGA GT 740 graphics. Avatar rotation is not smooth with the GT740, but the game runs with few crashes.

Continue to be disappointed...Have to buy a new Mac to play this...sorry I supported the venture. And where is my box set? At least with that I can look at the box!

You waste time on a Mac version and leave the damn loading stutter unfixed? what a waste of money this game was.

So it still doesn't work on pre-2012 Macs?

Can't really play on my 2012 Retina MBP. Way too much lag, even with the lowest settings. Oh, well... I plan to upgrade this year, so hopefully the new MBP will be able to handle it.

There is also an issue in the settings screen where the cursor highlight constantly jumps, and there is always one more click on any setting box. For example, if I click through a given setting, when I try to click Apply or Resume Game, the click goes back to the last highlighted box, meaning it's nearly impossible to properly set anything.

Finally, this Mac release 1.4.1 plus my recent upgrade to Mac OS 10.12.2 and the corresponding nVidia Web Driver version 367.15.10.25f01 have resulted in a completely playable Obduction. I actually "won" the game with only one crash, which "Resumed" correctly. Rotation of the avatar in "Free Roam" mode is still a little jumpy, but not bad. (Probably my nVidia GTX 750 Ti is not the best graphics card.) :steamhappy:

I STILL can't play this game smoothly. I've turned all the textures on low, even turned the resolution down to 900 something and it STILL has issues lagging. This is crazy making. I'm on the highest processor configuration on an iMac 4k 2015 (which is still the current iMac), and this still feels like an alpha release, or that I'm running a 5 year old computer. And yet the release notes seem waaaaay more positive than it seems they should be. I'm sure a bunch of bugs have been squashed, but there are still serious optimization issues that I'm experiencing over here.
