Pass, you should continue to improve this insult you've ridden like a rented mule until it doesn't suck. I bought your nonsense in alpha, not once have you gone toward the classics, which was the draw to this. Now you expect 10 dolars for Anteres and races you should have included already. Go to hell.

Uh-huh, like there were never free content updates until they created piecemeal DLC, which is what three measly races is, piecemeal. Oh wait, except they have been doing free content updates on PC since patches were invented. You really aren't making any valid arguments to speak of, it's just the usual ignorance of the vast majority of the modern gaming consumer. As usual.

Now, if they actually released a decent amount of content for a fair price, then that would be fine. They used to do that all the time. They're called expansion packs, look em up. The vast majority of extra content now is filler. BTW, the free stuff they're releasing for this game? Really not that impressive, in all honesty. That's just stuff previous MoO games had already.

That said, if folks want to attack the company for its DLC practices, by all means. Though I myself think the paid/free DLC model is pretty fair. Bit less fair to those who pay given it usually resulted in pricier DLC, but extremely fair for folks who get a ton of free DLC because of the paid DLC some of us are willing to pay for. It's a system I can get behind, even if I've a love-hate feeling about it given the premium cost for folks who do buy into it - and thus help supply the community with more free content as well. I can see how some people would simply hate this system though. Just bear in mind when criticizing that this system is at least a heck of a lot better than piecemeal pay-only DLC releases some other studios do, where they lock everything new aside bug fixes behind pay walls.

The DLC is a bit of high at $10 given all you get is the three race unlocks, so as it is consumers willing to put out the money for those races are footing the bill for the free content in this patch, all while some complain about it (and us) loudly here. As someone willing to foot that bill, I'm honestly offended by people like BloodMist who would attack folks like me who are basically funding content that the rest of the community is receiving for free by paying for the small percentage of it that is behind a pay wall. Whether you like it or not, a business is not going to make DLC in the first place unless it is profitable enough for them, and with mainstream business involved in gaming now, "profitable enough" means more than it used to. If we didn't foot this bill, there wouldn't BE free updates for many games you enjoy.

I sure would like to know what♥♥♥♥♥you pulled all that magical information out of. Hah, yeah, sure. The core game is what they make their profit off of, and if you geniuses that support this piecemeal DLC crap actually knew as much as you thought you do, you would know that profits have skyrocketed exponentially compared to cost, for one, and for another the gaming industry didn't start pulling this crap until the industry was no longer niche. It was a lot harder to profit from a game release 20 years ago, not easier. And it's because of ignorant fools buying anything that's spat out by this industry, at any price, that they do it, there is no other reason. See that's called logic based on facts, what I just did there.

People are so ignorant. It's not in EA anymore, it is a fully released game.
Every time a small developer (hell, even the bigger ones) make a game they are putting everything on the line. They risk total bankrupcy. Notice a lot of developers going out of busienss lately??

Costs to produce games have skyrocketed as games increase in scope and depth, while it costs the same or less to buy a game than is did 20 years ago. It is a high risk, low income industry and people cry about paying $10 for extra races (NOT core content, all the big stuff is FREE). If it wasn't for DLC then we would all be stuck with EA releasing the same game every year.

$10 for something you will use how many hours for??

It should be listed as race pack on the store page.

This is just greedy. Really disapointed to hear this after buying the Alpha version.

only have one word for it,.... GREED!!!
Time to uninstall the game if it will go like this from now on.
