I hope and suspect that they will address armies sometime during these DDs.

I hope they tackle trade & commerce, diplomacy and hive minds after this update.

Diplomacy is supposed to be one of the main features but it's still pretty shallow.

Trade is just bad and needs a lot of QoL changes, like auto-renew trade agreements, better trade for the AI, seriously offering 100 energy credits for an important strategic resorce late game where you often have tens of thousands is just stupid.

And hive minds, well, they also need some QoL improvements and more options. I understand that they cannot achive psionic ascendancy, it can be justified by saying that their hive link is psionic and thus psionic ascendancy interferes with it, but i don't get why they can't use cybernetic implants, build robots or have other non-hivemind pops with them. In that sense, machine empires are basically hive-minds 2.0 more options with less dawbacks.

Youse Not Goose - Because plagiarism is creative bankruptcy, and Paradox with Stellaris is creatively bankrupt. Their own ideas are generally weak and insubstantial whereas the better ideas lately implemented are mimicries of systems from Civ V or player mods.

@Youse Not Goose: It's a matter of credit. While legally they don't need to due to how EULA is written, but its simply the right thing to do. I had a mod of mine take once verbatim. I don't care if I wasn't asked permission, but they could have at least told me they were using it and credited me SOMEWHERE. Regardless of usage rights, that's still plagorism, even if it isn't IP theft.

Paradox has always looked at popular mods to incorporate into their game. I don't see how that's 'ripping it off'.

Cherryh sounds very cool. Of course I was more excited for humanoids, because the ships are exactly what I'm into.
