Taaarget is a symptom of a mirage. All these games coming out, it's soooo much overload that people who don't develop do not understand that the quantity of games available doesn't mean they're easy to make. It's just that there are millions upon millions of people making them. A single character model could add up to a year of work, but if you throw it at a warehouse of thousands of artist working on each part, you could do it in a week. That's Assassin's Creed. This mentallity is brought over to indie devs with small teams, and you end up with comments like Taaarget. Thankfully, our player communities are made up of people in the industry too, so we can help stem the tides.

Is there anywhere to see the leaderboards from outside of the game?

"you just won't score as well as your pro friend who went in with nothing but a Longblade and a dream."

Is there a way to go back and check the hiscore table after you dismiss it for the first time?

Taaarget, if you've ever spent time tweaking a game, you should have realized the stupid amount of awesome features that this update brings. I can appreciate these features because I once spent three whole weeks for maybe 3 hours a day making a simple mod on a website for another game. I only added ship parts to the game (averaged maybe 4 basic stats, each). I spent the first two weeks just creating new building pieces and guessing appropriate stats, then spent the rest of the time adjusting for fairness. If I spent this much time making a simple mod on a clean website FOR MYSELF, I can absolutely accept that it takes a year to (1) find missing features, (2) invent working and fair features, (3) while navigating code to reference and write to, (4) test and tweak each item with many people multiple times in complex environments that the game generates, and (5) figure out if all those features were even helpful, necessary, or would be accepted by most. Please consider things, Taaarget.

Hmmm, kind of wish we could replay the daily to submit a better score. That's always bothered me about most game's daily challenges. You just HAVE to do it right the first time with NO warning or anything, but if you watch someone else play the daily before doing it yourself you can know the general layout and how to do it when you go to play yourself. You still only get one try, but it's easy to get an advantage that way. Plus it's rare that someone would do something perfect on the first try.

I'd love to try, try again to do it, but there's no real point to since you won't get anything out of it, or at least don't get to re-submit a score from it. So that's pretty meh. Other than that though, I do love how the scoring system itself works and that there'll be multiple missions to fight through. Should be fun to faff about in regardless.

@Taaarget - Don't be a butt. Tom has said, multiple times, to not expect any updates and that if you are not happy with how the game is in its current state, then don't buy it. If you decided to buy the game before now, then you have no right to complain. If you haven't bought it yet, why are whining about the game getting the things that you wanted it to have before you bought it?

Normally I'm not a fan of dailies, they usually mess with the playerbase and only allow the best players to be on top and STAY on top. This is different, and I like the way you make the score change. SKILLED players will rise, not necessarily the most kitted.
