why dont gaurds get suspicious over dropped weapons? i feel that'd make the game a bit more hardcore in the cleanup part of stealth, maybe add a clause like "Over-Observant Gaurds" and maybe they can hear you when you walk or bash people over the head, so even footprints and melee attacks have sound radiuses

Bless you for the quiet guards. The new AI and life link are also going to breathe new life into the game and I love it. Time to figure out a new way to stealth!

I'm so glad about the inclusion of quiet guards. Now dancing my way through a group is actually possible. Sometimes the carefully picking apart the ranks - all the while preventing literally any shots - got *really* tedious. Granted, I might still do that occasionally, because pulling it off makes you feel like a true badass

Oh, this is going to change EVERYTHING about large ship attacks. Picking off guards has been a staple, now we'll have to generate new plans.

It's nice to see the AI changes; helps break up the standard strategies of stealth games.

Huh, the space birthday update is going to be released on my birthday? Now that is awesome.

One UI thing that's been mentioned; it would be nice if the key icons were more visible. Especially the key terminals. Even just a nice black outline around the key symbol would do it.

I was thinking instead of all the guards having quiet guns some, missions can have a certain type of guard have loud guns and the other guards can have quiet guns. This would make you think how to not get spotted by them and how to kill them before they fire.

Re: Loud guns pre-beta.. Alerting a guard on the other side of a wall, or down a hallway, even a few rooms away usually made sense.. What did not make sense was alerting a guard where the only path that sound could take and still be inside the "noise bubble" radius would be though two walls and the vacuum of space.. That being said I was able to salvage a mission out of a lockout situation by exploiting this to call a key carrying glitch dash guard over to me :steammocking:
