Hello everyone, we just released update 4.1, this simply adds a tool for converting models from the FBX format (supported by most modeling programs) to Take On Mars' internal format, TXO.

This should allow everyone to import their own models into the game. Documentation and examples to come soon!

The convertor can be launched directly from the game's Steam menu.

Awesome simulator-game. Chilling and gives a great chance not only to explore a strange new world, it also and this the main reason let you explore the hardwork of a probe-commanding operator.
While we ingame can steer the rover in realtime the operators have 20 minute timegap. And now you understand why so few photos coming in. Loving it =)

Tip: if you missed your landing area or have a close science target near your landing probe (non-mobile) you can hopp over there by using your landing break-thrusters =) (hold space bar & click the upper icon) it's a very difficult work the to hopp or stumble to your target but possible.

My wish for future: weather forcasts or better: switch over to observation satelite and watch, evaluate the upcoming weather for your own :)

This game is starting to look better and better! Great job. There should really be more projects like this one, more smart games :Khappy:
