Yes I do, and it isn't bad at all compared to this game, and though it's based in Czechoslovakia, or somewhere around there, I find that it is also better than TA as I couldn't get other forms to work. Also, I know that it has been greenlighted to join steam, aside from that. you are right, it would be nice to get a real free RTS game onto steam for once though

@ Fa;cpm7617 You do realize that Zero K is a SPRING Engine mod for TA right? utilizing all the base models that have been re hashed to show properly in the spring engine. It wont make it on to steam for a few reasons. 1 if it was making it here it would have in the past few years or so (the spring engine and mods have been around for a LONG time) 2 its a mod of a mod lol. I played Zero K back when it had first released, they originally had a mod for TA Kingdoms for a little while. I highly doubt, tho it would be cool to see it, that the community here will have Zero K addded or any of the other mods added from the spring site

But as for the update,

-still needs work...

Also, I must say that there are shield generators that block projectiles, mostly, and auto healing reclaiming Nano-turrets along with the ability to create fortresses with terraforming, and it only takes approx. 10 seconds to download a map. This is the next gen of TA, it does have a campaign, and a build your own commander portion(takes time). The campaign needs work, but it is amazing.

I actually have a free game that will soon be going onto Steam if they keep it up. The game is called Zero-K, which is along the lines of Total annihilation, though some elements have changed, there are about 10+ factories that produce all units tier one with everything else tier one, the downside is no energy to metal converters and expensive higher level items, but still playable. There is also an endgame bot and super weapons that don't crash computers. I've had little problems with the game. I would rate it 4/5 against PA's 1/5.

I must say it's a dissapointment it whould have been so nice to have a succesor to Total Annihilation a marvel of enjoyment. Look at the community it spawned and kept alive because of the engineering that went into it.

I might be a sorry old sod but i was just looking for a propperly rendered version of this maybe on spherical planets.

Total Annihilation was made by Cavedog Entertainment, not Uber. Would be cool to have it again though. Was a great game. :)
