OWLBOY IS RELEASED

After 9 years of sweat and toil the game is finally out. We're incredibly grateful for all your support, and we're thrilled that the game is finally in your hands. We hope you enjoy the game - we poured our hearts into it.

The Owlboy Soundtrack by Jonathan Geer is currently out on Bandcamp, and we'll have a bundle up on Steam as soon as possible. This post will be updated with all the information as soon as it becomes available.

EDIT: The Soundtrack is now available on Steam, both as a standalone, and as a Collector's edition bundle.

Thanks once again for all your support, and please bear with us as we try to keep up with all the feedback.

I've never heard of this but so glad I discovered it. Such a fantastic game and so glad to have had the opportunity to enjoy it.

I don't know why the game was in development for so long as I haven't been keeping track with the development at all (handled more like a side project?). BUUUUT, I played my first bit of it yesterday and it is pretty glorious. I need more pretty sprite art in my life.

Doesnt support 2560x1080? I play in that resolution just fine, the only thing to complain about is a weird vertical line during cutscenes on the left side. Other than that i LOVE the way owlboy looks on my 29" 21:9 monitor. Awesome game!
