Not much of an update. I don't see any NPCs.

@Vega - My POINT was that this game's got mods. Mods = options. It's not about immersion, it's about customization. If there's something about the basic game you don't like, TWEAK IT. Mod it. Smoke it. Hump it. Call it an Uber. In other words, make use of this game's most prominent feature and change it to whatever parameters YOU like.

That's why I'm liking PZ so far is that it's not limited to what the designer made it to be; you can actually make it into a game YOU want to play.

I'm sorry, but hydrocraft is a pure crap, my dude. Sprites for animals? Why would i want a feature (e.g.: Hunting, Mining) which doesn't have any underlying mechanics in a base game to support it (Animal AI, Terraforming etc) without breaking the immersion? I mean i could play a game in excel then, just typing the numbers (DnD style) if immersion is not a thing.

@Angrysquirrel - sooooo, Dead Island? State of Decay? Left 4 Dead? Because it sounds like you're describing them. If you're not a big fan of the main vanilla game, then delve into the Workship and download a few of the mods others have created. Other users have already created mods for trading posts, additional traits, another for more resources and items (Hydrocraft), and one that introduces NPCs. PZ was obviously made to be mod-friendly and customizable, so make use of that to your advantage.

Add NPC marketplace. Add NPC bandits. Add NPC allies. Add NPC forts. Add more zombie types. I could go on but I think you've already thought about this and instead opted for things you want to put in, instead of what your customers want.

Great building a game that you want to play. How about building a game that your customers want to play. NPC's. More firearms and melee weapons. You know, things that are fun and allow an escape from the real life. Nobody gives a crap about weather. Nobody gives a crap what color your car is, or that the oil need to be repaired.
