Definitely C, but the bicep rings from A and B give that nice tribal touch.
The handguard could use a single ivory or metal talon (dino nail) fix.
And perhaps a few metal/ivory danglies for the tail.
No headgear?

I'd say C but, even if I understand your argument concerning the racial differenciation I would add some armor to the legs too :-)

@Saint Scylla: in this case it refers more to the materials used to make it than the coverage ratio. We want each race to have a distinct feel and this goes for their armor design too. Scarres are something between nomads and barbarians and so even their heavy armors aren't like the armors medieval knights would wear.

How is it a "heavy armor" when the head, central torso, thighs and forearms are so exposed?

The shoulderpads combined with B would be a nice solution to ;)
