Yeah, so? It's still just a dated laptop with an old CPU which is slower than it's desktop counterpart, an old mid-range mobile GPU with severely limited VRAM which is also slower than it's desktop version. Storage might be another bottleneck, depending on what kind of SSD it is...

Mobile parts are ALWAYS (significantly) slower than the desktop versions of the same hardware which can draw a lot more power, can run at much higher speeds and and have much better cooling to dissipate the heat that they generate. But even a desktop 3060 with just 6GB would have problems running this game...

After playing just a few minutes the game uses around 8GB of VRAM for itself on my system with total VRAM usage around 12GB. That's at 1920x1200. It's more with higher resolutions, of course. I also reach over 22GB total RAM usage but there are a lot of other programs like browser windows running in the background. So 16GB should be enough for THIS game. Not necessarily for other new games. But only 6GB VRAM simply isn't enough...

I disagree, primarily to keep the game in more regions.

Shade's on land takedown seems to be the only likely lethal one, since she slices through the spine with open jaws; it was a surprise after all the other cartoonish head bonks.

First of all, spiders aren't necessarily in the second area. You chose to head to their area second. I went the other way and fought the slime king guy.

Secondly the best way to deal with the spiders is to bring a bow and shoot them from a distance unless they're generous enough to run up to you. If you manage to stun one (happens all the time) you can then move forward and lay into it with your sword.

Finally, why are you going there at night? Sleep in your bed after you've made room in your pack for loot. Head there first thing in the morning. Once it starts getting dark you want to be heading home. Try and remember the areas WITHOUT mushrooms.,

Those bones you get from regular goblin raids (and the handful of copper arrows the bosses sometimes drop) will make you tons of arrows with some twigs.
