What wouldn’t fly with a true feminist imho is the idea that the identities of those who make death threats against women deserve to be protected. So one defense is that she was just using this as an example I could see no other reason to not use the real thing. Especially since I can completely believe she has received some.

Eeeh, in recent years I've learned that even the most absurd and unbelievable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ examples of human behavior can be sufficently explained by stupidity, so I don't really rule out that this one is real.

I have no idea how Australian laws work, so maybe her lawers adviced her to not disclose any actual emails of those who threaten her before legal action is taken - but again, I might be wrong.
