I was hoping for more base game updates, improvements, or new content—anything to breathe fresh life into the game. But it feels like I'm being overly optimistic.

I've already said it in another post about the poster hoping that the game would improve:
For players who want that, they should focus on EARLY ACCESS GAMES, those are the games that get more content quickly and which improve (or not.). Finished released games are not going to improve but they go in bug-fixing mode. Starfield is no exception and it hasn't a lot of bugs remaining, so the game is essentially finished and left to the modders with maybe 1 more DLC to come and THAT'S IT. See you again on PS5 where you make the same rant...

I would be very surprised if anything substantial is added to the core game in a regular update. They have done so with the vehicle and the new map added because they had to pull the emergency brake: Poeple were complaining en masse that exploration was too slow and cities were a jungle where players didn't find what they were looking for. So, they had to add that or they would have gone in a selling disaster.

So, 2 additions to the game. But that's a 1-shot only I'm afraid.

Look, I get that most games drop in a pretty much.. "complete" state, meaning no updates outside of bug fixes and DLC. Starfields different. Bethesda straight-up said they’re dropping regular updates, so you can’t lump it in with all finished released games. Their exact words 'We’ll be updating about every six weeks, starting with our next big patch in February.' quite literally mean't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Pretty lame defense of a company that pretty much dropped the ball.

My main problem with the whole 'these guns good for light armor, these good for medium, these good for heavy' is it's not very clear what ships count as what armor.

My *best* guess so far is fighters and mechguns=light, warships=medium, deployer=heavy?

The pirates are even worse since they don't seem to have a 'mechgun' equivalent unless it's the MK2 versions of their ships...

I think Mechguns are medium? Would correspond to the 3 build types in your hangars?

Yes I do use mods. I was thinking about removing them to try but didn't want to go through the hassle of figuring out which mod might be the culprit until I knew for sure. Any suggestions?

Please actually understand grammar before deigning to correct others.

We need to teach ourselves how to make mods through tutorials on YouTube or just PDF files cuz if more people can make modes, then more modes we get more we won't we can make. If we can do that, then we can make games great again, cuz it's from us to us. Let's spread this message to create an online team of coders that can work together for not only them selfs but for everyone. And if you don't know how to code, you can make 3d models. If you can't do that, you can make levels. If you don't know how to do that, just spread the message like fire from community to community. If you know any moder, tell him to create tutorials for everyone so that they can, if they can't speak English, they can do that in their language. If they are not sure of their skill, then argue with people. I know that not everyone can have time or strength, but we need to teach our community to code modes, cuz maybe we just don't know how to code.
