Overwatch verdict affect other steam accounts with same phone number!
A month ago exactly 5 may 2016 my friend who played on my steam account got convinced by Overwatch investigators! Worst think is that a verdict is now affecting all steam accounts with same phone number attached to your steam accounts! From start I thought that Valve launch Steam Mobile Authentication for a better security level to my steam accounts! But now I regret that I ever attached my phone number to my steam account! Also start a discussion with a Steam Support agent! And do you think that I got unban to my other 2 steam accounts which was banned by Overwatch system just because they had same phone number? Of course that no! For me it's rarely case to see that Steam Support is helpful! I just don't understand where is information about that Overwatch verdict may affect all steam accounts with same phone number? Unfortunelly Steam Support didn't answer me to this question!

Have so much years of service and still don't believe that Steam reached to ignore real facts!

VAC and Game bans apply to all accounts on a phone number

If an account that has a phone number registered to it receives a VAC or Game ban, all other accounts that used the same phone number at the time of the infraction will also receive a ban. If the other accounts do not own the game they will still receive the ban and be unable to purchase the title on that account. The phone number on an account that receives a ban will be suspended for three months and cannot be applied to another account during that time. The cooldown duration for applying a phone number after a ban will increase each time a cooldown is applied.

This feature is not enabled for all games and will be used at the discretion of the developer.

Also account sharing is prohibited by the SSA and account security is on you. All Valve knows is that your account was used for cheating. There is nothing wrong with connecting other accounts to the sane phone number.... The key is to not cheat or allow cheating on your accounts!

And is that ok as a user of Steam to don't know that Overwatch verdict affect phone number! I have lost a lot of time for these steam accounts! I am completely agree that one of my steam account was convinced by Overwatch, but in Overwatch system isn't said that if I am found as guilty must end with all accounts with same phone number! As I understand now Overwatch system judge phone numbers?

Overwatch bans counts as Game bans which will affect any Steam Account linked with the same Phone Number.

It was entirely your fault for sharing your Steam Accounts and violating the Steam Subscriber Agreement with it.

I give him account just to play! Didn't give him to be owner of my steam account!

Which still counts as "sharing Steam Accounts".

I would imaginate a situation like "Hey dad let me please play some competitive matches with my friends! No, Michael! SSA don't allow it!" Good tip!

I don't see the point of this thread whatsoever, you trying to blame Valve for your faults.

They have family sharing for that, that way other people can use games without risk of item theft and they don't allow competitive matchmaking since matchmaking is worse if they can't match people based on their skill if the players change. Also it stops smurfing.
Still, that would get you banned in the same way.

Try to look at it from a bigger perspective, that game has a huge problem with smurfing and cheating. This is way to discourage cheating, like you said if you did know about this before there would have been less cheating in the game.

You are now not feeling what I am now feeling from a steam account overwatch verdict affected 3 steam accounts! My other 2 steam account include this steam account didn't cheat ever!

In any ways you are right! But in any ways I don't deserve it :( Was surprised to know that Valve judge not per user, but they judge phone number! For Valve it takes 2 minutes to ban a steam account! For me takes years to get back to what I had in past!

We aren't feeling it because we secure our accounts and ensure that noone cheats on them. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with letting a buddy try a game on your Steam account... On your computer, in your presence. That being said, if I did that, got up to go to the bathroom and my "buddy" installed a cheat and got me banned(we'll call it a 3 hour poop). It's entirely my fault.

And now you'll be much more careful in the future I'm sure.

Also going back to one of your previous posts... Ignorance of policy is not an excuse. Just because you didn't know they banned accounts with a shared phone number, doesn't mean you deserve a pass.
