When are the different Steam sales
Hey out there

I was wondering of what the different annually Steam sales are. You know, the big sales, that comes every year at about the same time.

As far as I remember, there are the following:
- Winter/Christmas sale, runs from mid-December to start-January
- Summer sale, runs most of June
- Halloween sale, runs at end-October
- Autumn sale, runs at end-November

The two big sales are the Christmas and the Summer sale, which runs for a little month, including a huge discount on almost every game in the Steam catalogue, and mostly include a side-event (clickfest game in summer 2015, board game in summer 2014 etc.).
While the Halloween and Autumn sale often is smaller sales, runs for a shorter period (3-7 days), and the discount is limited to a (still large) amount of games, and not the entire catalogue.

This also means, that we get 3 sales within short time in the end of the year, while we must wait a half year after the Christmas sale, before a new huge sale starts.

Something I missed out?

As far i know the biggest steam sales are on Winter and Summer. There are also some other sales as you mention but they are not so big as the other ones i just said.
