First year I've used Steam, are there usually Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals? Just curious! Thanks community.

Autumn sale is Nov 21 @09:55AM Pacific Time until Nov 27 @10:05AM Pacific Time.

Winter sale is Dec 20 @09:55AM Pacific Time until Jan 3 @10:05AM Pacific Time.

yes, there will be steam awards this year, again ... sadly 100% confirmed.

and the nominations were always within autumn sale, which starts at 10am pst.
winner voting is then within winter sale.

and for completion .. "The Game Awards" might be streamed on Steam in-between those two sales but Steam awards and the game awards have nothing to do with each other, except that both are meaningless award stuff.

No idea about steam, but online shops in my area do one of the following:
- normal price is 100%, increase price by 100%, discount it by 40% "40% off" (when you actually pay 60% more)
- 0.03 euro cents price reduction (normal item worth 50 euros, discounted price 49.97 euros)


So, I don't buy anything during black friday because it's a scam.

It's today, the autumn sale is the only big one that starts on Wednesday because tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the US.
