Steam doesn't work in Windows XP and Vista.
Hello all and sorry for my bad english. I know some people that lost their bought games because they still on Windows Xp and Vista, this way i loose my feel to buy more games because I know i will loose them later. I hope Steam doesn't do the same thing to windows 7, 8 and 10. It doesn't need more updates, just the games that we bought working.

Still I find quite funny.. oh well.. such is the new world.

New World? Its been happining for centuries. As technoloy improves the old technology is put out of business. How many vinyl records do you buy? 8 tracks? Victrola tapes? Casette Tapes?

That's life for you. It evolves and changes. Better get used to it now because that's how the real world and job industry works as well.
Vinyl is actually having a bit of a comeback actually, and magnetic cassettes are still around. They're just used for other things ...heck the HDD could be seen as the evolution of the cassette tape.

But yeah, old tech gets bsolete and people stop supporting it. Because the percentage of the population using it is so absurdly small that well...it makes no finnancial sense to do so. I really wonder what World RedLightning hails from where that has not been the case.

Windows 10 is the last version of Windows.

And anyone who can read corp speak will notice how very specific a statement that is. If they rename what would be Windows 11 to Microsoft Nova....well then the previous statement remains true and yet MS will have released a new OS for you to buy,

They said 'Last version of Windows'. Not 'Last OS'

Kids were watching Mary Poppin's last night and I can't believe there isn't more outrage at the power companies for putting all those lamp lighters out of business. How dare they.

I get your drift and kind of agree...but you might want to read up on unemployment, political unrest, poverty, immigration and workers uprising in the 18th, 19th and early 20th century...

Yep the turmoil can suck, but the alternative is we are stuck in a society without running water, electricity, etc.

In this case Steam waited as long as they until almost their entire userbase is unaffected by it.

Yup. You may notice this sort of thing seems to happen every 100 or so years. Ever asked why? It's a pattern of human existence.
