Where did the original skyrim go?

So I was looking around the store and thought to myself, might get skyrim. So I types it in the search bar and all I can find is skyrim special edition. Now I wouldn't have a problem with this but,

1. It is £30, compared to the originals £10.
2. No way In hell I can run special edition.

It happens, some games get phased-out for the new and improved.

I have a few Steam games I bought as the original "vanilla" versions and were replaced with the GOTY versions, for example I have both the Batman Arkham City and Arkham City GOTY.

if a friend already have the original just get it thrugh their game page buy ckecking out their games and then go to the page of it

Well they hid it from the steam store so probably gonna pull it off steam.

Well I'm sorry I thought it was pulled like other original games I wanted to buy but I can't.

bethesda may pull that listing from the staore one day. but it is still there now. they want you to purchase the game+dlc rather than just the base game seeing as users usually mod the crap out of it. a lot of mods need all the dlc to use.
