How to get steam community moderator badge

Moderators are an official position and you will be considered a representative of Valve so they don't just throw invitations around. You could try e-mailing Vavle and asking nicely, but for many forums the general rule is "if you have to ask to be a mod, it's not going to happen."

If you really want to be a mod: Be helpful on the forums. Don't annoy anyone. Never get banned on anything. Use proper English, or stick to posts/forums that are in a language your can use proper grammar.

I have found that the best way to ensure a position as a moderator is to buy the Valve Corporation, and when becoming a CEO you an also state yourself as a moderator.

The only way to do that is to contribute positively to the community. Answer questions of the members if you can and help if anyone need it. Most of the new joiner on steam do not know how to use the platform, you can help them in the forums. This would definitely get you a badge
