Garry's Mod 12 Blue Screen Mac 10.5.8 PLZ HELP

Hi ever since gmod 13 came out i have been having trouble with the game. It worked fine but now when I load it up i just get a screen like this http://i.imgur.com/WdG3H.png I wait for about 15 minutes but the game still doesn't load up.

Same problem, 10.5.8. I haven't played GMod in about a year because of this.

upgrade to 10.8.4 mountain lion, you can buy 10.6 from apple's website for $20 then step up to 10.8 (or 10.7 if your system doesn't meet the requirements).

I have had Garry's Mod for about 3 years now and never had problems, it works on 10.5.8.

Graphics drivers in OS X are not like in Windows; they are paired with point updates with the most current version of OS X available meaning the minute a new OS X version is release (10.8, 10.9), apple does not go back to update older OS's graphics drivers(10.5, 10.6, 10.7). Game developers (Valve, Blizzard, Aspyr) are quick to drop support for older OS X versions as the graphics drivers are quite old and in the case of 10.5 and 10.6 very bad. I highly doubt anyone at valve is testing GMod in 10.5.8, they just never got around to updating the system requirements on the store page (which is classic for valve).

Expecting any game at this point to run well or at all in 10.5.8 is honestly absurd.

Here are links from blizzard and aspyr explaining their reasoning behind dropping older versions of OS X. Valve is doing the same thing, they just haven't come out and said it formally.

I stopped reading at what you have to understand. I don't need a speech, and I cannot upgrade my computer. We will have to wait for a fix.
