Problems with mac
After some of the Steam updates I quite often have problems with the game.
The mouse reacts slowlier, and it's like having lag. I run the game on a MacBook Pro. I've reset my PRAM/VRAM, so that should not be the case here. Does anyone else experience the same issues, and maybe a sollution? It's annoying as hell, and makes the game unplayable.

- And don't advise me to get a PC, because I won't :)

I used to have a macbook pro, and i doubled the RAM to get better performance but it didn't do anything. The simplest games were slow, i.e. the Binding of Isaac. I won't advise you to get a PC, but I know Apple is supposed to have some new badass power mac coming out, so maybe switching to a desktop might give you the performance you're looking for.

Force close all of the apps on your Mac, turn off your mac(do not use the reset option), turn your computer back on, open directly into steam and straight into CS:GO, if lag is still there test your other steam games. See if it is steam all together.

Thanks! Without doing anything, the mysterious "syndrome" is gone after two days.

Am i the only one who gets tf2 to quit randomly?
download an app called "Smooth Mouse" and use the "like in windows" option under acceleration. It will fix the lag issues with the mouse

my friend has steam on a mac and it works fine.
maybe the macbook is different but i dont think the fact that it's running slow is due to steam updates.
