Games for Mac OS 10.15 Catalina

I've been away for a while. I recently got Steam working on my new iMacPro. While looking around in the store too buy a new game, I saw that of the list of available games for Mac was further shortened due to compatibility with MacOS Catalina.

Further, I wasn't able to find a search option to weed out the incompatible games making it pretty hard to shop.

Has there been any discussion surrounding this? Does the community at large know what if anything is being done to correct the issue?

In another thread user Tosh suggested using https://steamdb.info/. That seems to help with searching for 64 bit Mac OS games. Didn't see that mentioned here, so thought I would add his helpful suggestion...

i spent 20 bucks on gmod and now its un playable, plz steam make the games 64 bit

Christ yes. This has been a continual thorn in my side. I've had to return two games because of this.

We need Steam to have a Mac x64 section, it's almost impossible to shop for games in the store without it. I have to google compatible games every single time I want to buy new or old games.

I can understand how a 64 bit recompile of Team Fortress which was originally released in 2007 is not going to happen by itself but advising to install an earlier 32 bit MacOS version is kind of an interesting point to Apple Silicon users ;-) I myself wouldn't mind tpaying an upgrade fee for recompiled 64 bit versions of the games I purchased like all the Half Life versions and Team Fortress :-)

How the hell do you search for 64 bit mac games using this 3rd party software. There is no tab to search for 64 bit games.
