Port forwarding issue
I have a dedicated server running on my laptop that I've been able to connect to on machines on my local network, but it looks like https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ confirms that the port is actually closed, even though I've gone into my router settings and opened them to which it's giving me a green status light and insists they're open...

I'm using "curl https://ipinfo.io/ip" to get my ip address within a shell using SSH, and the server itself gives me the same IP output when it's running

the address is 151.210.237.227, I can't connect to this address, only the local IP. ports 27000 through 27050 are "open", both TCP and UDP. UFW is inactive. running out of ideas and wanted to ask here before I contact my ISP in case I've done something wrong

what port is listening ? what game server ?
Mobile internet providers sometimes use methods that will prevent ports from being opened - like nat / pat on the mobile network side, that make port forwards impossible (CGN / CGNAT)

Will my broadband service be affected?

Any service or outside connection that is designed to reach you via your device’s public IP address to communicate with your modem won’t work. You may also notice an impact in the below.

Multiplayer video games where you’re hosting a session/server
Website hosting
Services or devices that rely on port forwarding
Internet-enabled devices that are reached by IP address (e.g. IP cameras/security cameras)
Remote access to home network storage, backups and remote desktop service
Services that rely on Dynamic DNS (DDNS)
VPN servers

Wow. This sucks. Past two days of my life wasted I guess.
You can get a static ip from them, but they charge like $10 / month or something
