Can you return Gift cards?

Hello, I just got 100 Bucks for x-mas from my mom,and it's on a Gift card. The Card goes to Gamestop, and I don't use gamestop. It also says the money has to be spent by a certain date or it'll exspire. So my question is can you return Gift Cards? I'd rather have the money returned to her then just given to a ripp off store.

You guys do not understand. I cannot use the Gamestop Card at all. I went online Gamestop, and Every Game I wanted was a Digital Download(I don't want that, I want the Disc, for collection purposes), The I looked at Laptops, and they are all out of stock. Then Every Xbox 360 game I want isn't out till late 2013. Then I looked for Collectables like the A.C Hidden blade, and once more, out of stock. Also, I have all the Games I wanted for this year. So I hope you know why I don't want it, and why it's a waste of money. Also, I can't buy great PC games with Great PC graphics, because I do not have a Great PC. Please stop judging me, because you don't know why I want to return it and it's none of your buisness.

Also to your, "Have you actually tried to return it?" LOL that's a joke right, or do you not know what time and day it is? It's Christmas, and everything is closed on Christmas.

Also, I don't Fake Smile, I smile because she spent money on me, then I feel guilty, then I want to return it because, it's her money, and it was a waste of money(Read what I posted, on why). I can't stand people buying gifts for me, because I feel so guilty.

You were given links on how to exchange a gift card, you were told some consummer law AND someone has suggested buying another more fitting gift card.

You seem to fail to appreciate what anyone has said to you. You are entitled to your opinons on Gamestop and their failings, yet you ask not to be judged while calling others' names and insulting them, and as for your stating, "it's none of your business," why did you take the time to post and reveal your business in the first place?

I am Humble, and I swore at a Kid who's insulting me and telling me that I don't apreciate anything. Also, I said I was going to do a "New fitting Card". This is what I can't stand about the forums. I ask someone something and everyone has to insult me because I ask the question. Glad I don't use forums on a Daily bases, or I'd be driven mad.

And that was after someone took the time to look up the laws for you, and this is how you reward! And by that time, you already put a bad light upon your readers, and instead of taking the "high road," you showed no appreciation for any of the answers. Buddy if only you knew how to read. If you read on in later replys I already answered that was a joke, and I bet the person knew that. Also I usually use the word "You" as in "I" Soe when the person reads it, it makes them think It's talking about me. Alot of people use the word "You" in that kind of way.

Also, regarding my post, I was making a small notion of why I didn't want it. Then everyone has to ask questions and call me ungrateful, and a Faker. Then you turn around and say I started the insulting? Dude you either don't know the definition or you just think when you insult someone and they insult you back, it isn't right.
