I have over 300 games that I collected over 20 years.
Some were purchases(in better times), others were gifts from friends, while others were won during steam events where they just happened to be on my wishlist and steam chose which ones to just hand me. I have let everyone know (since my account was about 5 years old) that I'm trying to work on my backlog before buying new games (neat stuff gets wishlisted or followed and I'll check it out in a few years after the hype train has died down).
Additionally how one spends their own money is their own business and doesn't affect anyone else.
Unlike some others I actually intend to play, enjoy and complete my existing games(where possible) so buying would just get in the way. You can call me a completionist if you urgently need to label me, but if you do then you're someone who likes to stereotype and pidgeonhole people. We are not the same.
Rookie numbers. I've seen a profile with 20k games.
How many lives do you need to play all that?
"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."
Options!
It'd be like only reading one book or watching one movie until you've memorized it forwards and backwards.
Sure, some people do that. But I wouldn't call it "normal" behavior.
If we are talking about practical things like fixing a car or plumbing a toilet then I would hire someone who specialize in it; instead of someone who does cars, plumbing, phone repair, woodcraft, computers, roofing, pressure washing, and landscaping subpar.
Is it. Thanks so much. So you made up a name which is meaningless for a set of people you have just made up.
Well done...
