PC Advice
I currently have a laptop with an Intel i5-6200u, Intel HD Graphics 520, and 7.89GB of DDR3 memory. Will getting an SSD improve my gaming? I'm pretty sure it would with valorant but I don't know about others.

I didn't know laptops without SSDs still existed.

Yes, if you're able to replace the storage drive, an SSD would be a good idea.
Might want to think about getting a new pc as that is a bit outdated. It will play older games but i doubt it will run newer games.
It will definitely improve performance with general use and the speed of loading software/games, but it won't make too much difference with actual game performance.

Not just for loading the games but also in the game too, like when you go from one zone into another and you get the loading screen between zones.

I think it's either from 2017 or 2015

Depends on the individual game and how it handles precaching and transition scenes and whatnot.

That doesn't fit my budget at the moment

If you can also upgrade the ram to 16 gb it will also give you a boost.

eh save for a new pc or laptop is better. ssd will only improve the loading time slightly in your case but not actual games performance

SSD will probably speed up the loading time. But as for performance of the game it might be negligible.

If you’re looking for better performance I recommend getting a brand new PC with decent specs.

it mostly helps run spyware quicker i rmember long time ago i got no viruses on pc it worked fine without one, its just every year things gets slower even just running a browser and now you need ssd just so that all that stuff can run in the background 24/7 spying what you do.

Improve your gaming? No, that's up to you, but as already mentioned, it will significantly increase your loading times, large maps are loaded much quicker, and depending on the game, you'll probably find yourself on a server before anyone else.

No, SSD only provides faster loading times.
Lots of modern games are designed with the assumption that you're running an SSD (and a developer-level supercomputer - but that's another issue).

Many titles now can't even stream assets fast enough from a mechanical drive.

So it would likely help, but really, a rebuild would be much more useful long-term.

I would first check IF you can upgrade your laptop (read if you can change the HDD in a SSD)
