But if young kiddos like his commentary and lets plays then thats their decision to watch.
I watched him a little bit and he has a good sense of humor and his commentary is pegi 0, so maybe kiddos like him because he dont needs "hate feeded" commentary like other lets plays. respect him, if you have a kid, what you would like more, your kid watching this guy or any psycho-hater-commentary lets plays with bad language?
That is practically any fanbase of any youtuber though. In fact, it is especially them. I haven't watched any of these people's lets plays though. But youtube fan people tend to just follow the youtuber like they are a powerful deity or something. It is weird.
Pewdiepie was "funny" when he changed from Black Ops to horror.
Then he played games like Goat Simulator.
He has like 10 million subscribers, I bet he could release a video, of grass growing, and people would watch it, and make him money.
