Musk and The New America Party
Will Musk really become the next president?

Trump doesn't have a line of succession and Musk is only 54 years old. When Trump passes away, he will take all of his political infrastructure down with him as he is a cult of personality.

Every generation, the US political system goes through a seismic upheaval with multiple factions fighting for power.

Musk could realistically recruit all of those factions that are in flux to win enough support.

He is pretty infamous currently. Both left and right hate him.

I'm not sure if he can do that.

You have to be born in the US to be able to run for president. He was born in South Africa, his mother is Canadian, and his father is South African. He can’t even use his parents as an excuse like Ted Cruz did

He can just marry a random woman, or he can buy TACO cards he made that grants citizenship for some money. He can be granted it even as a gift for contributing to the economy. It's easy for them to take the citizenship.

However I just read you need to be natural born, so unless they change it, he is out.

Even assuming he could run and doesn't lose interest in like a month, I would be amazed if his campaign gathered any steam. Nobody likes tech billionaires, not even other tech billionaires, and Musk has made an enemy of the right and the left both. He is a very mediocre public speaker, and his petulant outbursts will not do him any favors on the campaign trail when he has to answer tough questions.

He should have focused on grok instead of larping as a fed for 6 months. we would have and endless supply of digital waifus if he just focused on that.

It would require a Constitutional amendment.

it's not a law, it's an article within constitution itself which is even harder to change

That can change, the constitution has been amended 28 times.

Remember, Trump has mentioned a third term multiple times even though it is unconstitutional.
