It's GREED! While they were raised they weren't told no and forced to fend for themselves. Someone would always protect them and provide for them. Original poster doesn't understand women. He thinks they love the same way men do. Women love us for what we have and what we can do. That's their definition.

Men are different with their love. Men like to show off their woman like some kind of trophy, or prize.

Think of the roles males and females play in the traditional couple. Good looking means healthy for having children. Fit means to protect and provide for the children. In modern times we have also come to realise that money can be important in an otherwise traditional role.
