Second of all, just open the fridge. Why would you tap twice when you can just open it? 70% of the time you're going to be getting something out of it anyway.
This new feature is absolute piss. It only exists to make the fridge more expensive. An 8 year old must've designed it.

It'd be wild if LG Fridge could only store LG ingredients sold at special sections at certain stores. Juicero is still easily the worst one, but this is pretty bad too.

Easier to tap and when you open you change the temperature. This maybe not practical for most but a janitor destroyed priceless examples of new solarpanel tech by pulling out the plug of the fridge. These examples were preserved in permafrost. You may as well don't want any sunlight. Surely not as important for commercial.
