MAPs, pedo support on Valve side and a tale of euphemisms
I reported an ongoing activity running for 18 hours here on Steam forums which indicates a MAP (Minor Attracted Person, washing euphemism for pedo) operating their disgusting activities. Three hours laters no action was taken by Steam support so I decided to call for help on a populated thread I happen to know. I just made a single post, not even linking the disgusting thread, pointing directions people could find and report said CRIMINAL activity.

1. I got shocked by the reactions at that second 'community', which resulted on a report on MY post.

2. I can't calculate the precise timing, anyway I received 'A warning from a member of Steam Support', which deleted my post under allegations of 'spamming'. By *a single post made in a forum*.

3. I went off to that second 'community' once again to politely express my full disbelief on what was happening. For some intuition I decided to check for any development a few minutes later, just to discover my second post was silently deleted while the original offending thread is there, no actions taken against it in any shape or form.

So my only conclusion here is: MAP, ie, PEDO activity is also a tolerated thing on Valve forums too!

I'm taking screenshots and notes on everything, I happen to know some influencers on various degrees of the industry, I'm seriously concerned on what the PRESENT is already hiding from those who ignore how deep we already descended as a society.

I'm shocked. I'm really shocked.

EDIT:
I made a longish update on the situation, 24 hours after my first report being made to Steam support, still being ignored. Check it out here:

Well, let's hope the FBI at least will let him know what the rules are.
We'll see. A lot of these types of hyperbole/over the top reactions to "shocking" content usually don't end well on Steam at least.

Yeah.
THat's a good point.

Steam's a big platform, and I've personally witnessed alleged grooming in-game on TF2 so...can't really call "lies" either. All we can do is give the best guidance we can, and hope it works out.

Reading comprehension really isn't in your skillset is it? Also get the hint.

I mean, I don't quite get why both of you hate each other, to be fair.
I probably hate you more to be fair... idk why I have you blocked but you must have done something to make my list at some point...

idk why steam can't have a reasonable block system, but w.e... I can just not remember and be like "hey, you're that guy I blocked but whom I still see what they say".

It is a reasonable block system.
No one wants an echo chamber, and this isn't FAcebook/Twitter/X.

Heck, I've been on forums before blocking was even really a thing people even knew about.
Even the official Minecraft forums had an ignore system.

xDDD

empty alt account with barely 80 posts with "soldiers of christ" as primary group makes pedofilie accusations

yaawawn xd
maybe try fix the pedofilie problems in your religion before you try to change society or even just steam XD

I left Catholicism back in 2015 when I first saw Spotlight. Years later I was drowned in evidence the Catholic church is an organization dedicated to obfuscate, manipulate and bury (mainly but not exclusively) child abuse all over the world - almost by accident, as I wasn't searching for any of that.

Last December I decided to abandon Christianity for... well, just watch the news.

I am a Christ follower, and for that very reason I decided to not be confused by any means with those... monsters. That doesn't mean I don't cooperate with people, Catholic or Evangelical, who have a clear moral compass to live their Lives through - which unfortunately is becoming a scarce thing as years go by.

I'm not religious at all, but I don't see exactly why you thought a femboy thread was a big enough deal to get the government involved.

I guess that's why people seem to think they need to censor what others say as opposed to just blocking them...

or maybe it's just them trying to control others opinions? idk... all I know is back in the day when you blocked someone you didn't have to see w.e they were saying anymore and that was good nuf.

That's how this current system works though.
You don't see what they say unless you click on the post.

Social media full deleting of any kind of posts can be too easily abused.
I know how that works.

Twitter/X has it's own really awkward block system.
People literally blocked me for telling the truth about something. XD Way back in the day when I used it.
Like, about a comic book of all things!

Outside of quoted posts...you need to click the content of a blocked user to see it now.

They should change how quotes work, and the ability to click and see what a blocked user says. Otherwise, block is fine MOSTLY as it is now.

Yeah, it works well now.
Tweaking the quotes would also be a good idea.

I just have too much experience with how social media and others block people. LOL.

should change how the whole thing works so you can reasonably block people IMO... maybe then people wouldn't feel like they're being harassed on steam so much.

Again, that's not a valid complaint since you can literally just ignore the click on what they say button.
That's on the person if they don't have self control.

I say, as someone who does click on blocked users in case I don't remember why I blocked thme.

Social media =/= Forums. Forums don't work like that, for the most part. But yeah it reads like kingjames would be happy with the ability to just not see what a blocked user is saying, not block them from posting altogether.

Outside of quotes, though. I see no logic behind blocking someone, then clicking their content to see what they say. People need more self control.

And by reasonably block, you just mean not seeing their posts, not preventing them from posting, say even on a topic you made, correct?

I agree, and I do understand that.
I just hate how social media conditioned a lot of people into wanting to not allow people to post.
