Not every addict loves their object of addiction.
but they rated it thousands of hours ago?
is this like a masochism thing? or maybe they feel the get better performance from the anger?
ur profile is sick
The real question is, what is this? Do you genuinely not understand why somebody would give a rating like that? Or are you being intentionally obtuse?
well, i wouldn't say that necessarily.
a lot of devs flip the script these days.
after years of steady and good service that their main audience enjoys, they sometimes make a really stupid decision that results in their company getting sold (like blizzard lmao. remember world of warcraft exodus)
so at that point, its just responsible to warn off new players and tell them 'this isn't the game it used to be anymore.' kind of thing.
it could be a situation where they've already put so much time into their account or character that it becomes very difficult to let it go, generating a feeling of bitterness.
but yes, it's not very logical to rate a game negatively at say, 3k hours and still play for a few thousand more. you must have a positive opinion of the game to dedicate that much time/effort to it, hmm?
maybe you forgot to update the review cus you're so focused on the dotaz, which i could understand.
omg im about 2 cry :'(
understandable, but do you still play it?
i understand why someone would still play it due to addiction/sunk cost/etc, but why not at least give those guys a positive review for something you dedicate thousands of hours to?
just a little weird!!!!!
deux stop deletin ur posts!
I always give the same example. Not a thousand but have a lot of hours on Destiny 2. I do not recommend the game despite the fact I still regularly play it.
Why?
Because the experience you'll have NOW as a new player has nothing to do with the one I had when I joined. I can bear still playing the game because of all the invested hours. But your hours starting now are not going to look AT ALL like mine when I played it.
The cost I've put to have my looter shooter itch scratched was very different than the one you'll have to pay.
Hence Why I won't recomend it to you.
Subjectivity =/= objectivity, you can love and play a game but not recommend it because you know it's obviously bad or have some flaws that will drive new players away so they better be warned before spending money and eventually regret it.
