Which game do you hate beyond words and why?

For me - it's Darksiders. I love the art so much. But these are not action RPG games. They are puzzle simulators. The actual action RPG aspect takes up 20% of the experience. The rest is literal puzzle solving.

Herdy Gerdy on PS2. When you were a child and your parents bought you cheap games from places like Target or Walmart this is the type of game you would get. Poor plot, poor game design, poor character development. All the works. A game about herding animals because your father got put under a spell or something. I have no idea. I just know a young me had a painful experience and I would absolutely wish it on my worst enemies.

Far Cry 5, because it's stupid. It has stupid story packed with stupid plot armor so thick even the Death Star's blast wouldn't put a dent in it.

I used to be a Kira fan and even had a crush on her back when she went by "Rina-chan". But when she turned pro in voice acting, she also turned into an entitled prima-donna and began treating her older "Rina-chan"-era fans like dirt and seeing us as unworthy of being her supporter. Why support a voice actress who doesn't even like her own fans?

The only devil's advocacy I'll give Sega here is that they're not the same company, not even close. So they don't have the ability.

But that of course doesn't excuse the fact they could licence someone else to make it.

They already had it demonstrated that they can do this successful with Christian Whitehead (I think his name is) and 2D Sonic. So it's bizaree they won't do the same for 3D.

Something like this could sell just as well as new mario bros wii did tho. (Mario bros wii, sold almost triple what mario galaxy did). But sega refuses to take the hint.

Nintendo slacking too, the switch only has a wiiU port of mario bros U. If they made a new sidescrolling mario, with odysee or mario kart level graphics, history says it would outsell odysee. Possibly by a significant amount. They're actually poisoning the well with mario maker, especially since it doesnt sell particularly well.

Sorry but that assumes you know better and I don't see evidence of this.

Nintendo are damned good at their research and watching how things play out.

I see zero evidence that a fully new 2D Mario would outsell their 3D iteration.

To be fair that was an early release for the PS2, and it wasn't a good example.

It was TERRIBLY explained as you rightly say. It was a rushed mess of a game. Could have been much better with polish.

CS:GO/CS2. Awful mod support and now the game looks like a children's playground with all the ridiculous looking skins.

Hate is the path to the dark side.

Dont hate any games. BUT I do avoid certain devs who are scummy. as in DLC spam, day 1 DLC, skins for FPS games, additional bundled software. etc. I have an actual list of devs I will NOT buy any game/content from period.

So there are games I wont and don't play because 1. I find them not enjoyable. 2. to pricey for what they offer/are. 3. made by a dev i've personally blacklisted.

Why on earth do you support an actor anyway? I've always found that sort of thing silly.

Like their work instead.

For example, I grew up in the 1970s. There's plenty of music I like and that includes all the weird genres from rock, punk, ska, new romantic, rave and acid house, indie and so on.

I've been having a bit of a thing about early 1970s songs I grew up with lately. One particular artist from that time, Gary Glitter, well - the less said about him the better as he's a monster.

And yet I still really like "Do you wanna touch?" as a great tuen and performance. Doesn't change the fact I absolutely despise the bloke.

Because I acknowledge the work there is what needs admiring (or not).

It's like if you aren't that good at a game, And suddenly in death match you're forced to play them.

Or in TF2 they stack the teams, i watched them do it and now i can't be bothered playing.

This is another reason why I don't tend to play online games, certainly not PVP.

Because unless you invest time heavily, you likely won't be able to keep up.

Fallout 76. Because i always wanted a fallout with friends but after i saw how bad it was everything about it at launch i hated it so very much for so long... after some time i decided to give it a try on a free weekend and i just could not believe how bad it was and the fact that it has positive reviews. Oh well at least i know to not expect anything from bethesda anymore because simply put i am not part of the target audience anymore
