Under Night in-Birth - a fighting game perfect for my skill floor and ceiling. Even the short experience I did have playing with others (bad netcode) left me eagerly awaiting the sequel which will have rollback.
Oblivion Override - Not my first roguelite but hits every note. Art style, music, gameplay, difficulty... it's all just right.
Age of Mythology - Mostly nostalgia, the fun I had with friends and relatives at LAN parties.
Barely didn't make the cut - Warhammer 40.000 Dawn of War II - Retribution. While it was incredibly fun for most of the time despite being heavily competitive, the community was pretty great. Good sportsmanship, fun matches... eventually, the well got poisoned by elitism and toxicity.
Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne.
Fallout 4 ( can't play it anymore after 2200 hours, no matter how much i mod it, lol. Too burnt out on it, but it is my most played game EVER )
for its time i bet it was amazing but for todays standerd idk, it really was a not a aoe game spin off
2. Elden Ring
3. Terraria
idk why people cared about the story that much since as a kid i was fine with it. i was a lot calmer too so i enjoyed the rpg and talked with everyone in the game.
sadly i agree the game is hard to replay at a point since its like a 1 time go type of game, i would love to replay it again but i legit did everything and theres nothing to enjoy again from it. truly is the best non replay game in a way for the vanilla.
2. Little Big Planet
3. Team Fortress 2
(Maybe a little biased because I have a lot of nostalgia for all 3 games. I played them a ton during my childhood)
the most fun? Hmmm.
I think I'll have to go for a very basic one; Hover!
(Old Windows game, link for download might still exist on Wikipedia)
2 Killing Floor 1
3 Kerbal Space Program
Battlefield 2142 was just a great game. Great weapons and vehicles and great modes. Unlocks could be tough but you had multiple soldiers you could log in as and would easily be able to unlock a couple fully on each without too much effort. Also was a time before cheating was rampant.
Killing Floor lots of good gore with zed time. Probably spent as much time playing as making maps in the editor.
Kerbal great fun for me since I like to be creative and the game allows that.
