Generally, I'd rank the frequency in which I play them as follows:
1. Support
2. DPS
3. Healer
4. Tank
In my experience, I usually just find support classes in RPGs to be more versatile if you don't follow cookie-cutter builds. In RIFT, I played as a Bard (support class); however, I had set up my gear and skills in a way that 9/10 times I was out-DPSing the DPS classes in the group while still maintaining the expected level of healing & buff support. People used to think I was lying until they'd come watch me stream, and eventually enough of them asked about my build & setup that I'd posted a guide for it.
However, in shooters (i.e., Gears 5, Zombie Army 4), I'm usually playing with folks who are better with the genre than I am so I will make/use a support or healer class to help keep them alive.
Also, "tank" really shouldn't be on my list at all... as a play style, tanking just isn't my preference.
In WoW I played a Shadow Priest, which I did enjoy very much.
I played a few different classes in EQ and enjoyed them all.
RIFT was actually the first MMO since EQ that I loved just as much... by far my 2 favorite MMORPGs of all-time.
At least when someone tries blaming me when I'm the healer I can choose to not heal them anymore and laugh when they throw a tantrum.
Secret of Evemore has soap in it too >:3
I still can't heal brain damage my teammates do have though.
