PS1, 2 and 3 (DS 1, 2 and 3) all used basically the same exact molding process.
The controllers that were shipped first were the SIXAXIS ones and they are godawful. They feel too light and unusually flimsy. I was always afraid that my fingers would just go through the plastic.
They resolved most of the issues with the DualShock 3 controller. While it does have some much needed weight and rigidity I still prefer the DualShock 2 controller as that thing can take a beating and still work perfectly fine.
When it comes to placement I FAR prefer Sony's offering to Microsoft's. The off-centered analogue stick in the 360/XB1 controller always feels odd and I'm not quite fond of the triggers.
the feel of the controller just isn't right
What game are you playing that requires sixaxis?
The only saving grace is the dpad, which is miles better than the one on the 360 pad.
this is not a troll this is not bait i want a actual explanation
mods don't ban me i'm serious, does sony just don't know how to create a controller
Your complaining about how a Controller Feels, no that is all?
Have you not seen the Nintendo ones? N64 Controllers were like a star shape, o_@
& they had other goofy looking Controllers...
The Wii Mote is basically a TV Remote... Anyone ever try playing a Game with a
TV Remote? Ya, they made that into a Controller for Wii...
I seem to fail to see how a Six Axis Controller by Sony
is any worst then those Designs...
I have or had like 3 Six Axis Controllers, 1 Six Axis Duel Shock 3, & a Cooling Fan Controller...
They all work great... I even have 2 Move Controllers & 1 Navigator Controller...
If anything, the worst thing Sony had was the Move Gun,
which you couldn't run & Jump at the same time during FPS Games,
due to the fact the buttons were too far apart to make this work...
The Duel Shock 4 PS4 Controllers are terrible by Design...
These feel like they might fall apart in my hand, & the triggers look
like they will fall off if I game too hard with them... I always preferred
the PS3 ones over the PS4 ones...
I like the feel that they are a bit heavier, why? Because having them a
bit heavier tells me they were built to last, & that they have good
weight to them... ^_-
