Tekken 7 Director Says Denuvo DRM Is Causing Performance Issues In The Game[wccftech.com]
Denuvo anti-tamper tech causes major issues to legitimate owners of Sonic Mania[www.dsogaming.com]
Warner Bros games like Injustice 2, Shadow of War and Mad Max are unplayable due to Denuvo server issues.[segmentnext.com]
https://www.resetera.com/threads/does-denuvo-slow-game-performance-7-games-benchmarked-before-and-after-they-dropped-denuvo.60879/page-2
Denuvo, like DRM in general, offers no benefit to legitimate game owners[www.giantbomb.com]
The main point is that Denuvo doesn't benefit the players and worst of all, it seems to affect slower systems far worse because of all the processing power it clearly uses.
I remember when the conspiracy theorists claimed that GOG would never be allowed to lay their hand on games that weren't at least a decade old because the whole platform was allegedly just a giant pirate scam.
Well....look at the GOG storefront and their place in the industry now.
Been on my wishlist too and I will abstain from it. With so many playworthy games out there no one needs to play along with every publishers whims.
Besides, a week ago GOG gifted its customers the revamped Outcast: Second Contact which will be a nice treat until Christmas.
>Basically its a harmless game development practice that stops non paying customer or rather aims to mock them. However tinfoil hat people are convinced that saying "just don't buy it lol" and calling you customers dumb hurts sales.
in short the type of people who cry about it are the type of people the game/community is better without. It worked brilliantly for every game that tried it, just look how successful this marketing strategy made BF5 and all other games that tried it.

I can't trust you guys to take the issue of DRM seriously, I can't trust you guys to remove it when it becomes necessary since these people are the same people who created and abandoned SecuROM after only six years.
Lost my sale. Well done. This one was on my wish list.
It's not online only. You can play Denuvo protected games offline. Where do you get your information?
Saw this game for the first time this morning on a Retcon Raider playthrough video and it looked interesting, but having Denuvo dampens that enthusiasm (I don't like extra garbage running in the background affecting PC performance, as has been shown can happen with Denuvo from articles posted in this thread), and then having the Devs pin a reply seemingly made by some troll?
Yeah, not gonna bother. Honestly, even without Denuvo I wouldn't want to support Devs that would do something like that, plenty of other Developers I'd be happier to give my money to who don't validate responses like that.
I guess we know why you have a problem with Denuvo then....
It's like shoplifters campaigning for less security in shops because it makes them uncomfortable.
