And yea officiall branding like Starwars, Marvels etc cost extra because they have to pay royalties to varius companies that own that specific brand. so dubbel cost there for the consumer.
Not the huge extremely detailed one, bud
Yeah but I also have hundreds of hours into GTA 5 and it only costed me 60 bucks whereas a 500 dollar lego set maybe takes you a day to build and then it sets on the shelf...
I'm confused, the most expensive lego set (to date) is the Millenium Falcon, which is $800. Where did you get $3500 from? Yeah, legos are expensive, but that's because they're in-demand and always will be, plus the parts can be re-used for whatever you want.

You're talking about this one:

Which is extremely less detailed also much smaller. the "kids" version if you will
Right.... and those are *limited*, obviously they'll be more expensive, that's the same as me comparing a rare Blue Eyes White Dragon card to a regular one, their prices WILL differ.
Right, but is that price difference worth the "bigger" version? You could buy multiple *smaller* sets and potentially make a *bigger* version, just one has "collector's edition' plastered over it. It's cherry-picking.
It's just not the same... the 75105 is something you can build with your kid in like a couple hours wheras the 10179 requires a true labor and can be used as a decoration centerpiece once finished. Not to mention the journey of building the thing its self. All that said, it sounds wonderful but who really has that kind of cash...
Legos just are expensive, since they're sold in a mass-quantity, have re-useable parts, are made to withstand years of torment, and they're in-demand, always will be. Also, it's weird saying that it's only 75k, whereas the more expensive version is only 1/4th more. Really, you're just limiting yourself to one diagram when you think of it like that, you're able to create virtually anything with the parts you bought once.
Honestly, they're worth it. They're the kind of toy that you'll play with forever, pass along to others, and enjoy doing darn near anything with.
