Dragon Ball Z Goku voice change???
I just got to episode 68 in the namek saga and Goku's voice is completely different... What happened to Sean Schemmel's Goku? Is he not a part of the rest of the series? If so, when does he return to doing the voice of Goku?

Are we talking 90's Z? If we are talking 90's Z then yes the voices for 99% of the characters changed voice actors. Funimation at that time took over the dub work instead of having a third party company do the dubbing for them.

Forgot to note that Funimation also remastered Z for the DVD box sets. Those remasters used the original music, and redub the show to fix the voice actor change.

Sean did 202 episodes.

Kirby Morrow did a lot of the rest.

I didn't really notice the other actors change. Maybe it hasn't been Sean Schemmel this entire time I've been watching and now it finally is. I'm not entirely sure which version I'm watching to be completely honest. I downloaded 9 seasons of, what is called in the files, Dragon Ball Z Remastered.

Is there a list somewhere of all the Sean episodes and all the Kirby episodes?

Looks like Goku had 4 different people doing his voice.

After looking at it a bit it is Sean doing Goku's voice. Episode 68 is the first episode to use him as a voice actor. Before that it was Ian James Corlett doing the voice under the old Saban dubbing contract.

Ok, I just realized what I have here... It's the Funimation remastered boxset. The First 67 episodes were redubbed in the mid 2000s by Sean, Chris and the otthers. 68 is where Sean just started playing Goku. Before that it was someone else. That's why he sounded so different because he hadn't quite developed the trademark Goku and I was expecting the refined voices. It's starting to sound more normal now
