I used to know this chick, quite the fruit loop. One day she's on a ramble, with a very tight grip around me. She said something akin to:

a reflection
I am you and you are me
what I see is what I am
what you see is what you are
we are all we've seen
the world reflects ourselves back at us
everything is a mirror
But within that fruitcake rambling, there is wisdom.
It's quite depressing how this is widely accepted nowadays.
